3rd. Price: Bonus winner

Well, this one was the hardest one for me. I had 13 entries chosen and I had this secret thing in my mind I used to search for the third winner.
I looked for three things:
1) Congrats to me and Agnes
2) Correct entry
3) Great reasoning or story

I had some trouble of deciding here, because there were so many good ones, so I was able to choose 3 best ones and from them I randomly draw the winner. I'm sorry, I'm weak, I wish I could give you all something great.

So, the winner:

As for the price, I thought here many things, but this one is like the third price, so I will make it 15$ game winner choosing, so choose well.

I hope there is no hard feelings from all the rest participants.
I can tell you that this is not my last give away, so be on the alert.

I hope all the winner now can help me to get their games as cheap as possible, somewhere near them would be best.

THANK YOU ALL FOR TAKING PART IN THIS!

Hello, hello to all.

I wasn't planning to give away any games again any time soon, because I just had one give away after I got the Love Spreader award, but now I got another award - Geek Of The Week.
And to celebrate this I decided to give away 3 games to random user here on BGG.

Las time I had 5 items I chose random, but this I thought we could do something little more different. These games I offered last time might not be what you want, so this time we do the following:

First you could thumb this list to keep this on the first page as long as possible.
Then you add here geek list item with the name of the game you wish to have. Only rule is that the game should cost less than 60$ (because I will pay the shipping too). Then write short about why you want this game. This might be just few words, but I would love to read them all. And to the end add a second game you would like, if for some reason your first choice wasn't picked as winner. I will make the first item as example for you all anyways.
The second game you add should be valued less than 30$ (again, I will pay for shipping)

Drawing: I will draw this item on the 5th of September, because this is Agnes's birthday (user LilyGirl). Drawing will be easy - use random number generator to pick two users.
1st. winner will get the game he/she listed as item.
2nd. winner will get the game he/she wrote as second choice.

Bonuses: This wouldn't be as fun without bonuses. Same bonus as last time - for every 0.5 tip to this geek list you will be added to the draw one additional time.

Bonus 2:
Who will write me best reason/story/words why he/she wants the main listed game and for some reason don't win, will get something special from me. Maybe something off her/his wish list as third winner.

Things to remember:

1. Recommend this list.
2. Add item with game in 60$ dollars, write short reason and then add second game under 30$
3. You can get additional bonus for 0.5 for tipping the list.
4. Check back with the list around 5th of September, Agnes's birthday.

Good luck.

PS! Edit: Everyone check your entries. Check that games are cheaper than the numbers I wrote before. If it is more expensive, I hope you have solution written there (like you are willing to pay for shipping), because I will not accept the offer to pay the difference to me, because the shipping is more expensive for larger and more expensive games. You can offer to pay for shipping.
Also check that you have selected only one game for 60 and 30 dollars, so total of 2 games. I will not accept a list of games to choose from. Choose now or later I will draw your name and you have there a large number of games, I will draw another winner.
Also everyone who has entered their wishes as comments, make them as geeklist items as well.
Drawing will be later today, Sunday the 5th...

Why? - Because I used to eye this with envy when I would visit my friends' house but never once did he pull it out to even let me try. I promised my fiance I would stop buying games for a while (with a wedding, house etc. to pay for) so again, I am left wishing it was mine.

Second game - Innovation - I have never played Glory to Rome or Innovation but I hear so many good things about the two I am dieing to try one.

Have a great day!

I have wanted this game since I first played it. Many of of friends have it and I have limited shelf space in the game room.

A second game would be the Rio Grande 10 year treasure chest. I have many of these games and some of the expansions already. I keep spending my money on new games that I do not get around to playing.

As a new user, I feel a bit forward even replying to this. I need to find some way to contribute!

My big request is Dungeon Lords. It looks like such fun! It reminds me of a couple of books I've read that are from the "evil" character's point of view. I enjoy dungeon crawls, and being able to construct my own and defend it against the invading good guys sounds very appealing.

For the small game, I'd like Glory to Rome. So many good words about it, and nobody in my gaming group seems to have a copy. It would be nice to bring something that nobody else has for a change.

Thank you for this opportunity!

Why I want Talisman.

One reason is that my rpg group can play it between sessions and get our adventuring fix. The second reason is that my daughter is already expressing an interest in my games and has asked me when she will be able to play Dungeons and Dragons. I believe that Talisman will be a good gateway into the world of fantasy role-playing.

2nd game of choice: Lord of the Rings, the silver line edition. I want this one pretty much for the same reason, plus my wife loves Pandemic because of the co-op play. She also loves Lord of the Rings and just finished reading the book, so I believe I could get her to play this with me.

Congrats on being Geek of the Week!

First Choice Cyclades, which seems to be a theme around here. The game itself seems amazing, with great plastic, good theme and great mechanics. We havent gotten a chance to play it yet, but believe me when I say it will get a lot of table time.

Also, I fear that I may have been the kraken in a former lifetime. I only had a few minutes of freedom after being locked up for so long. It was hardly fair.

Second Choice Summoner Wars (either starter set). Non-collectible, collectible, tactical dicefest game with variable powers? Indie game gone good? Looks great, would love to own a copy of it and wear out that flimsy paper board

Tales of the Arabian Nights because my wife is a vicious competitor who does not like games focused on making one player out to be superior to others. Second Choice:

Tsuro for a near opposite reason: I've been attending a game group who prefer the lightest of fare. Generally we get pretty good numbers and are always looking for quick games which are easy to teach, and playable by more people.... and I'm getting tired of BANG! and Guillotine ad nauseum (which are not quick enough). gulp

Why? I live in the deep south - even worse, I live in the country. Most people here are uninterested in anything but hunting and football, and if you mention "board game", all they'll think of is Monopoly, Risk, or Sorry. Even try to explain the wonderful varieties of board games out there waiting to be discovered, and all you'll get is a blank stare. So, my only other player most of the time is my mother. There aren't many good games which can be played with only two people and even fewer that can be played solo (when she doesn't feel like playing or I'm home alone). We'd love to find some more games we can play without having to find or make a special trip halfway across the state for a third player. I've been wanting Arkham Horror for a very long time, but I've never been able to set aside the money for it. This can be played solo or duo, and I love the customization opportunities for making custom investigators. I'm an avid reader and writer, and I'd go nuts with Photoshop making a variety of characters for new investigators. It also gives a good opportunity for non-pencil-and-paper roleplaying as the investigators.

Second Choice: Thunderstone - Like Arkham Horror, this can be played solo or duo. It seems really promising, its theme is right up our alley (we love fantasy-based games), and the artwork is beautiful which is also a major plus for a visual person like myself.

Thank you so much for this opportunity! (Edited for typos)

Why Wilderness War?

I love the Jason Matthews series of CDG's but I'd like to get into something more wargamey. The French and Indian War is a fascinating period of American history.

And some of the action happened right where I live, in Cumberland, Maryland! I can walk five minutes and be at the spot where Braddock and Washington stood.

1st Choice Puerto Rico, it is one of those games that I am sure I would like, but have a hard time deciding to buy. What this really means is that I would like to buy it but I am scared my wife would win constantly. See, I like to be competitive and enjoy gloating a bit when I win around the house, but my wife takes it to a whole different level. I am talking spiking cards, talking trash for days, the whole bit. Do I really want endure what might happen if I do win Puerto Rico... I still regret buying Ubongo... and Blokus even though I love them both dearly.

2nd Choice:Robo Rally Now this, this is a game where I could take the winners cake. Games like this click for me, and then the tables are turned. This is the kind of game where when I win, I proceed to walk around the house making robot noises to be a gentle reminder that I was the champ.

The price seems to flux on RoboRally so if it is over 30 I would gladly make up the difference.

Edited for price differences, background story.

I would dearly love a copy of Wok Star, mainly because I'm a huge fan of co-ops and this game sounds like loads and loads of fun.

ou are a most generous man.

Hi, Raiko and greetings from the North.

My first choice would be Hammer of the Scots because I've been drooling over this for God-knows-how-long. I've read everything about the game and the history. And I don't have a block wargame yet.

My second choice would be 2 de Mayo, a solid two-player for me and my fiancée.

Thank you for setting this up.

Why? Because I LOVE WOLFGANG KRAMER GAMES! Yes, he is my favourite designer, he is always innovating and he doesn't repeat himself, at least as often as other designers. He always put a little luck into his games, and they are always deep and interesting. I also love the passion he gives to the mechanics and themes, and I'm very sad that he is so overlooked nowadays. Also, is very difficult to find great games here in Chile, and we have the same problem of all other people who doesn't live in USA or Europe. Last reason: my Secret Santa didn't sent me my game and my Christmas tree was empty this year, so I promise to put your game below my tree.

The second choice is Trapper, because... I LOVE WOLFGANG KRAMER GAMES!.
If someday I have a children I will name it Wolfgang. Or at least my pet. Wathever.-.

Tänan teid väga Raiko!

This would be number one for me as I have seen some great reviews and I love the look of the components.
Number 2 would be the Spirit of Niagara - the expansion to Niagara. We have had great fun with this game but occasionally we want to play with a sixth player which this expansion allows

thank you for this awesome opportunity

First Pick: I have to pick Ghost Stories. I fell in love with this game from the first play. Very tense cooperative game with enough of a unique theme to keep it interesting. PLUS it is possible to play solo, which is always a good thing for me.

Second pick is Summoner Wars. This is another game I'm sure to get at some point because it's just awesome.

These games may be awesome, but not as awesome as you sir.

My first choice would be this... just because I haven't played it yet, and no one I know has it either.

Second choice would be Tannhäuser: Operation Novgorod, because I have the original and haven't picked this up yet.

Thanks, and congrats again on GotW.
