This is the traditional weekly thrift and bargain finds list.
These lists may start empty but as always: add your items.
Put in what you consider a bargain, tell us how much you paid and the place you got it from. Bargains can be thrift store finds or any second-hand purchases or discounted boardgames bought new. Don't forget to add your encounters with the Thrift Store Irritant Squad™ and any other embellishments in order to make it even more interesting.
The Weekly Thrift List Wayback Machine The Grand Vizier is maintaining a list of all the weekly thrift lists through time, and will be adding stats and interesting tidbits for each week. http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/48522

I was wondering when these might be hitting the thrift stores. Ross and the like were blowing them out at $9.99 right after Christmas. This one was only $2.99 at GW in Surprise. It is complete and has never been played (the cards are still sealed).
Mystery Gamer X takes another huge game dump on me! I bought 18 games and expansions for $80 That's about $4.44 each. I also received a wad of "The General" Avalon Hill gaming mags that will be fun to flip through. There is some great junk in here (at least for my tastes!).
This is supposed to be a great exploration, space empire and economics type game. Forces and governments of the races are also asymmertic. Neato! 4.44 from Mystery Gamer X.
This one comes straight from my wishlist. It's a Star Fleet take on the Naval Battles type card games. I rather enjoy these, so was really happy to finally cull this nice unplayed copy. It comes packaged in a nice quality VCR tape case. $4.44, much nicer than the $24.95 msrp.
As a surprise bonus, I also received this pocket sized Steve Jackson Games version mostly unpunched in the box of the TSR version. It does not have it's original box, however. Since this is a duplicate, I'd be happy to make a trade, if anyone's looking. $4.44 in Mystery Gamer X's Game dump. The map is considerably more colorful and comic looking, but looks to play essentially the same.
He also had an unplayed Two Towers version. The cards were still in shrink and the armies, dice, and my precious still bagged. Don't turn your nose up at this version. It sold pretty well for me last year, and mine weren't unplayed. Also averaged out to $4.44.
I have to throw in at least one from Goodwill. 0.90 but seems to missing several dice and at least a couple of figures. I hope it will complete the other set I found a couple weeks ago. I've got to maintain a play copy of this at all times.
How about a little classic Sci-Fi wargaming with asymmetric forces? Yes please! Looks to have been punched, perhaps played, yet in Good shape. Original 70's price tag of $3.95 is still on the package. Hey, I got ripped off! $4.44 from Mystery Gamer X.
And this TASK FORCE GAMES mini-game was still new in shrink. It's a hex n' chits sci-fi game about men in powered suits bouncing about the landscape chucking nukes and frickin' laser beams at each other. Sounds great! $4.44.
It's essentially Space Hulk with Terminators vs. Space Marines. Both sides get guns! I had to have this to double expand my existing set, which I have also not played. $4.44 for an awesome piece of AT!
I didn't really know much about this, but anything with a freakin' Kraken devouring a Castle has to be awesome! This is apparently a fantasy wargame from Columbia Games using their really awesome blocks.
The trouble with Wizard Kings is that it "ONLY" has two armies. I'd be horribly tempted to expand this game, if it turns out to be good. "Oh, wait, you have some?" Amazon butt cracks?! Yeah, I'll take them off your hands. $4.44 unplayed, blocks unstickered, and in shrink.
