Because I have shown myself willing to go to almost any lengths to be the most helpful BGG contributor in the history of time, space, and lentils, here is my list. It is in no particular order, other than from least to most favored of my top 100 favorite games to play. That's right--there will be no Busen Memo or Juden Raus on this list, although I did play one of those exactly once.
This is a work in progress, of which I am becoming quite tired. I will add the rest of it when Jatoha earns my respect again by playing Acquire. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Newly Added Header Content Follows Self-Importantly -------------------------------------------------------------------------- All right, so far as I know she still hasn't played Acquire (ridiculous), but let's just get the top 20 out of the way already, so that Tim Synge and the other GQ regulars that keep popping into this list don't have a collective aneurysm.

Okay, now we're getting into the top 50, and it's time to start taking this stuff more seriously. This is a truly marvelous game, and I thank Aaron for teaching it to me, and BGG.CON for providing several fun opponents this year. Not only does this entry represent Nexus Ops, but also all the games that I didn't pick up in a timely fashion that it later turned out I would have loved to own. So what if the figurines smell like solidified asparagus urine?

This would be much higher than #48 if we were in some parallel universe or another.

The 40s are all going to seem like infrequently played titles. With good reason.

I might have to move back to Pennsylvania just to be near my copy, which I forgot to bring with me to South Carolina.

This game is actually one of my very favorites. Sadly, the infrequency of play bumps it into this section.

Of course that brings us to perhaps my very favorite of the "screw you and the horse you rode in on" games. The only game where I can boast that I actually made my wife cry. Not that I would, of course! How churlish.

A really enjoyable game, I just can't be bothered to play it any more.

What can I say, I should play this more. A really fine game, I don't mind playing with the published dice rule at all, though I understand some people's preference for the variant.

Possibly the game I like the most of all the games I underrate the most? I imagine if I were forced to pick three or four games out of my collection that I would not be willing to watch burn, this would make the cut. I rarely play it, but there's something extraordinarily interesting to me about this game.

This one suffered from a pretty shoddy rules translation, but since I am thinking of games that I really like that I underrate along with everybody else, this one made the cut. I will eventually get to the games I actually occasionally play.

Don't get this to the table much any more, but this is a great game, and thoroughly well represents the very best of Herr Rosenberg. Sure, I like Agricola, Le Havre, and At the Gates of Loyang, and those three might (hint) show up in some way later, but with respect to his card games, this is still my favorite.

I am a huge Jay Tummelson fan. What he's done for gaming in this country can never overstated be. He gets his very own spot on this list, just for his customer service, and then he gets an extra (virtual) space just to represent all the games he's published that didn't make it onto this list directly.

Nearing the end of this stretch of thinky, deductive, and puzzlish games we have this beauty. If you can't find one of the myriad levels of fun that this thing provides, you are a soulless gamer from the nether realm.

This one might slide down in my rankings a bit, but it's still fresh, and the overall mechanisms are so cleverly integrated and cute that I am presently a big fan.

The designer actually gives these away now! I always wondered if this game's sales suffered from the bland packaging. The inventiveness of the game is anything but bland.

Is Karl-Heinz Schmiel my favorite designer? I always thought it was Knizia, Dorn, or Schacht. Herr Schmiel's variety of play contained within a small number of published designs is certainly something I admire a great deal.

But I, too, have never played Acquire, so possibly you will feel justified in ignoring my request.
By the way, you owe my friend Judd an apology. Lingering frustration over my Nexus Ops defeat forced me to take out my frustration on him by mercilessly crushing him 12-2 on Friday night.

I'm not a guy either. My real name is Rustina, and that's a fake goatee I've been wearing at BGG.CON. Also, 18" heels.

I was most certainly at TBGT this year, but didn't even realize you were there! See, this just proves my point: TBGT should be longer.
Wow, I wish I had realized that was you when I met you, since I've read many of your posts on the 'geek with interest over the past several years. You're right about TBGT...definitely longer would be great. How about if we plan an Android game for next time? I think two years between playings would be just about right for me....
