Here's the situation...
I'm on the planning committee for the company event in January. Among other things, I suggested we have some games on the tables for people to play and engage with each other while eating and drinking and listening to a band. The tables will be 2-4 person. The games I'm pulling from my collection are below and in my opinion easy to play, engaging to look at, quick and visually attractive (for the most part).
Here's where you come in...
There's no way I'm going to have time, voice or energy to teach everyone who wants to learn, all these games. But, I want them to be able to play them. I want to put a laminated index card set of rules summary on the table with each game. The room will be noisy, the people will not want to engage in anything deep nor that requires reading a lot of rules. To "normies", game rules can be intimidating...I want them to be super easy to follow and play. Please help me to create a short summary that is enough to learn and play the games, but not overwhelm or be in anyway a deterent to playing. Ideally, three lines of instructions that can fit on a 3 inch by 5 inch index card. They should be able to read them quickly and start the game. I'm assuming they do not know how play any of these, Go for concise!
Here's what's in it for you...
Enter your rule summary submission on any game below as a comment and on January 10th, I'll pick the best one for each game and choose one of those randomly to receive a new free copy of 7 Wonders game - shipped free anywhere you want.
Here's how I will decide the winners...
Best rules will be short, concise and complete and entice and enable a person to play the game without any further reference to the full rules. Feel free to enter more than once and on more than one game as needed. Also, feel free to add a game to the list from my collection - just remember, people will be eating and drinking at this party and I don't want to risk losing/damaging parts/boards so choose wisely.
Thank you in advance to the BGG Community!
