This geeklist is to show the fun things you can find in the BGG April Fool's Day "Geekdo" search engine. It is for people who want to find the things they missed or anyone who might miss out on the BGG April Fool's Day joke. Please add anything that is not already on here. Spoilers ahead!
4/1 morning: I am glad everyone is having fun, but if you are going to post a new entry, please make sure it is not already in the list. If we're gonna get all the fun entries in here, everyone needs to help out in keeping the list from becoming an unusable mess
Also if you can, please put whatever content is associated with the search. I'm pretty sure that tomorrow we won't be able to access the Geekdo search anymore so anyone who missed out will have to rely on this list to see what was there
4/1 evening: It's over now, but Aldie left it up over here for anyone who wants to keep playing with it: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geekdo
Actually, It really is Braindead, just not in the US. I say this as someone who has been following Mr. Jackson since before the US release of Bad Taste and was hoping the name change was just a bad joke at the time.
(and anyone else who knows better, yes, I am aware why they had to change it, but it's not like it would have been the first time 2 movies with the same title were available. Ask anyone who accidentally saw the "wrong" version of Crash.)

Hunh, I didn't know that. Thanks! I think Dead Alive is a more appropriate title anyway. Whereas Brain Dead is far more appropriate for this movie:

If I'm not mistaken they both are the "wrong" version. At least you can laugh at the Cronenburg movie.
I emailed my GF Katja and told her to try the 'geekbadge" in the geekdo search. She doesn't have a geekbadge yet and only a small handful of MBs. It said she would find something if she logged in, and after logging in it said nothing found.
I got a coupon code, but I can't find any way to redeem it. I think it might be a joke within a joke within a joke.....
Go find any microbadge you like, and click the 'buy' button. That takes you to a sceen with confirmation and cancellation buttons, plus a link that says: "If you have a coupon, click here to redeem it". When you click that, it gives you a text box into which you can paste your code.
I'm afraid I'm screwed - I've never watched the show.
Well, Luce spelled it out above...
If you've never seen the show why do you want a "lost fan" microbadge?
That's what I asked myself. The only answer I came up with was "same reason I want the pokemon and monopoly badges".
That's the true beauty of this April Fool's joke - after having found most or all of the badges, I discovered that I wasn't clever, I was a Fool! The admins played me beautifully, and I suspect I'm not alone.
I just noticed that if you go look to see who has the 2011 Easter Egg microbadge (the one I have up for a bit now, first time I've ever put anything up other than Social Worker) it always says 42 people own it
That's more quirk of the system than easter egg The number of owners updates once each day. 42 people happened to find easter eggs within the first hour or so we had it up.
Hmmm, so it's a coincidence??
I thought it was funny: how many people found the easter egg MB?
