Here is of games involving dogs as the theme. Please watch you don't do duplicates. I will leave people to debate if the game belongs on here or not. Dogs mean canines here. I want to have this as a reference, so be respectful on here. But, do have fun.

Another licensing of Monotony.. Is it nearly as compelling as Craig's "Animals Close-Up With a Wide-Angle Lens" or "Animals Close-Up With a Wide-Angle Lens Wearing Hats"?

Let me say up front that I'm a SimplyFun consultant, so I may be biased, but it's actually a really good game for little kids. There's not a LOT of strategy in it, but there is more than I would have thought because you have to think about both what dogs that you want are coming up in the line & think about stopping your opponent from getting 5 dogs. Best for the grade school set, but it's one that you probably won't inwardly groan if Little Suzy asks you to play it with her.

Just a shame the dogs don't fit into the bag and the components don't fit into the box. But yes, a nice little game.

Le Chien (The Dog) is the term used for the 6 extra cards. Players bid on what to do the the Chien; whether it goes to the taker or the defense or whether or not the taker sees them.

Well it was a prototype so it was never officially a "game" but plenty of people did play it before I had to shelve it. I was working on this territorial marking game for quite some time until A Dog's Life came out. Seeing that release was so demoralizing that I just put the design away. Still, time has passed and I'm getting the design bug again so maybe I'll pull it out again and see if I can pin everything down.

In the Director's Cut of Kill Doctor Lucky, one of the variations listed is Kill Doctor Lucky and his dog. Oddly enough, you add a dog and try to kill it as well.

Ofcourse Monopoly isn't a game about dogs, and everyone seems to hate it, but the dog pawn is the most compelling reason to play.
