My wife and I will be there the entire time.
We'll be bringing CE with us. A few of our other favorites we will bring along:
Glory to Rome
Sentinels of the Multiverse
Agricola
StoneAge

We'd be willing to teach any of them! Check out my collection and let me know if there is anything else you would like me to bring/teach!

I should have a copy of Ninjato to teach for BGF. I might have a few other goodies to bring along as well.

Would love to get in a game or two of Vinhos as well!

Jeff....I don't have Vinhos---do you have it? Also, I'd definitely be up for a game of Ninjato.....I played NINJA at GenCon....it was decent, and I've heard good things about Ninjato as well..

I taught before so I feel comfortable doing so again.I'll be at the convention the whole time so I'm sure we can hook up at some point. Most of the Cabbies should know who I am, but I'll keep and eye out for you too. If there is a particular time that would work well for you, let me know. Right now my only commitments are running the BSG tournament at 10pm, but as I tend to stay late, you're unlikely to see me before noon any one day (well maybe for the Auction Saturday, but that's it).

This is my highest priority play at BGF and I had a great game last year. A friend (with one previous play) and I (several plays) will be looking to play this on Friday and I have taught the game before. Perhaps we might set a time so we are sure to get it played. I'll geekmail you.

I have both the Valley games version of the game and the original german edition, which we find has more easily read iconography.

I'll also be around on Saturday to possibly play as well.

It seems that Die Macher is a go. We have room for two more it seems. If Bill wants to commit we will be down to one space. Although, I might be willing to give the game two plays if it can be organized.

Thanks for starting the thread Bill.

There are a few 2-player-only games, but most support 3 or more players. Conversely, there are a few games that can only be played with 3 or more players, but most work with 2 players as well.

So, we probably will make the game go on Saturday if we can get a copy of the game.

This is the game I've been wanting to play forever. I have it (and the expansion and the original (which I played looooong ago), but I've never been able to actually play it.

Now, whether I can play it a BGF will depend entirely on the willingness of my wife and kids to let me escape for that long, but I can wish.

Other wishes:

Innovation: Echoes of the Past

Eminent Domain

Cosmic Encounter: Cosmic Conflict

I've got all of these and a few more. I've offered above to bring Dune, Merchant of Venus, and Buffy for folks to borrow. You're welcome to take a look at my collection list and suggest others I should bring.

This game is so fun. Where else can you play a three-table, fifteen-player financial game that plays quickly? …and it plays significantly faster that way than if you play a single-table, fife-player game of it.

I've read the rules and it sounds fascinating. I was advised to not try and start a game on a Friday CABS meeting and BGF seems like the perfect opportunity for it to hit the table.

I'd like to get a game of this in during BGF. I have my own copy, but CABS has a copy as well.

Vinhos would be nice to play as well.

And...it would be cool if I could get ANY game in with Nathan. I've been trying to play a game with him since Origins! He is very elusive... laugh

That's cool because I just picked up Alien Frontiers in the math trade.

I'm bringing a number of games to BGF, including:

Planet Steam
Inca Empire
Claustrophobia
Steam Barons
Dominant Species
Homesteaders
Olympos
Imperial 2030
Carson City

...but I'm on the fence about bringing everything needed for M44 Overlord. I have two copies of the base game, along with the Tigers in the Snow and Sword of Stalingrad maps. If people are interested, I'll pack this stuff up as well. But if M44 Overlord gets only a tepid response, I might try to save some space in the car!

I've had this game for years, but haven't played it. It's beautiful to look at, but for some reason I just can't figure out the rules. I'd greatly appreciate someone willing to teach it!

Speaking of CABS/Origins giveaways, I have accumulated several games I'd like to try out:

Black Friday
Louis XIV
Terra Nova
Darjeeling

These all need more plays (or a first play!) so I can make that crucial keep-or-trade decision for the next math trade.

On the flip side, I can teach several light-medium weight games if anyone's interested, although I'm sure the people reading this list know them already:

Oregon
Alhambra
A Castle for All Seasons
Winds of Plunder (which is greatly underappreciated, in my opinion)
Hike (family/kids card game)

I'm happy to teach you Amyitis, Vince! Good game. I'm also rather fond of Black Friday, Louis XIV, and enjoy Terra Nova. Darjeeling didn't thrill me on my first go, but I do want to try it again.

I'm going to be bringing this to try out every day for those that are interested. If you're a Blood Bowl fan, you'll get a kick out of it for certain. If not, you still might like it.

I also have my copy of Eaten By Zombies! in hand as of this morning, so that is gonna see some play as well.

Still hoping for my copies of Ninjato and The Walking Dead: The Board Game will arrive in time, but I'm starting to give up hope that Z-Man can get anything through it's clogged up pipeline of distribution.

Red November

Interested in playing/can teach, but CABS already has:
Catacombs
20th Century
Louis XIV

Want to play, cannot teach, but CABS has:
Wok Star
Caylus

Anyone interested in helping organize the library is welcome to come to MOSSL on Sunday at 1pm. We'll be getting things in order at that time. I think Nathan is doing the move on Thursday at 9AM, but I'll let him provide more details on that.
