So, what wargames out there have a significant lead in the form of a women warrior and/or leader?

Historically, we are talking mostly of leaders. The female warrior making headlines is rather low, but some are darned famous for it.

Well, at least the Queen (Victoria) is given some recognition in the title.

Victoria both provides the Zenith of The British Empire and the beginning of it decline....the Colonial Wars and their brutality would eat into the British Morality they though they had...momentum would keep it going until at least 1956, when Anthony Eden's experiment with the Suez Crisis would show the world it was not what it was.

When the Spanish laid seige to the city of Haarlem, legendary Kenau Simonsdochter Hasselear lead a troop of woman fighting of the assault by pooring cooking water and oil on Spanish heads. And what she got in repayment was to have her first name used as a pejorative for a 'manly' woman. Histrory ain't fair.

Anyway, here is a lovely contemporary portrait of her:

Boudicca eat your heart out.

And Here I Stand is the wrong period. Virgin Queen would be more appropriate as the assault on Haarlem took place in 1572-1573.
