I was on my way to pick up Experiment and all expansions (all new in shrink or unused for the expansions that did not come in shrink) for $15 from Kristi (along with Pack and Stack and Gosu).
Next at Xenia GW was this old friend - with cards still in shrink for another 99 cents. (Maybe this will help me stop kicking myself for selling my original version of Chronology locally for $5).
Interviewer: Gunnery Sgt Terry Burrell, A/Master-at-Arms
Subject: Sharon Valerii
Setting: Interview conducted in holding cell #2, 16:38, 126 days after Exodus. Subject has undergone standard sleep and food deprivation for 28 hours.
(Start of Interview)
Subject: How’s your investigation into Billy’s murder going?
Interviewer: Please don’t try to distract me with useless questions.
Subject: It’s not useless if it’s relevant.
Interviewer: Alright, since you're not exactly going anywhere, I’ll indulge you. The investigation has been closed. There isn't anyone with any discernable motive.
Subject: You may be interested to know that I was recently tapped for a milk run, shuttling Billy back and forth between Galactica and Colonial One while the President was in a conference. I had some spare time while he was looking for some folder in his office, some sort of profile on a delegation or something. Turns out, delegations aren’t the only people the politicians keep thick juicy files on.
Interviewer: Get to the point.
Subject: Well, while Billy was rummaging through a cabinet, I saw seven files lying on his desk. They were all covered in sticky notes, so I couldn’t read much, but I can definitely recognize photos. And they were all Galactica or Pegasus personnel... and his own, dearest President.
Interviewer: Who were the other six?
Subject: Wouldn’t you like to know. Why don’t you get me some water and turn off the audio recorder?
Interviewer: If you’re wasting my time, you’re going to regret this.
One of those games that I had mis-scaled in my imagination. Instead of a 10" x 8" x 3" box like, say, Pass the Bomb, this is just a little two deck card game. And after reading the rules, not a very good one . Oh well, $.99 at the same GW.
$.99 from Goodwill - also into the Christmas box. My son is a Combat Engineer doing route clearance. Figured the boys would appreciate a little explosive humor. (And they did)
