Would love it if Catalyst licensed this to FFG for big box, big hex game like Tide of Iron.
Something where you could do company on company fights in about 2 hours would be awesome.

I keep finding these and for some reason keep picking them up. Looks like I have a nice package of tech games to trade or sell. This one still has some chits unpunched and is in excellent condition. Paid $4 at GW.

FASA Third Edition 1992
Complete and unplayed. In fact, all the Mechs are still attached to the sprues. Cut them off and paint them up yourself. Record sheets are unused, rules are in great shape, as are the maps, and includes a 60 page Battletech Center Operations Manual. Box lid is a little dished, the left side is a bit wrinkled, and there is some shelf wear. Otherwise, the game is in super shape.

I don't rate any games a "10", but rate a couple of games "9.5" and of them, Battletech is the lowest ranked. Game has a "living universe" with many ever evolving factions. Game allows for many different units such as Battlemechs, tanks and spacecraft. The rule set has many optional rules which allow the players to make the game as simple or complex as suits their taste. This game is the only constant in my 25+ year gaming 'career'.

Condition: Unpunched. Everything inside is in great shape. The box shows lots of shelf wear and a few spots where tape was previously on the box.
I found this in a thrift store and was going to give it to my brother but turns out he wasn't interested. I don't keep my want list up to date so just make an offer.
I won't be at Con of the North but I plan on attending the February MBGM and otherwise I'm in the south metro and can meet.

The box has a manifest on the back and, according to this, it is complete other than a sheet of insignia stickers. The manifest doesn't list the stands but there are 16 in the box.
Box Condition:
Good. There are a couple of nicks, some minor shelfwear and some minor compression creases in the corners where is had smaller items stacked on top of and under it.

It's huge, it's long, and it's totally epic. It's Battletech, introduced to me back in 1991 by a good friend of mine, and I love it dearly to this day. BT is set 1,000 years in a the future. Mankind has left the safety of Earth and spread a few hundred light years in every direction. After a prolonged period of peace and technological advancement under the rule of the Star League there's a civil war and the Inner Sphere, as it is later known, shatters into 5 Houses (sort of like Dune), each taking a pie-shaped wedge of the IS. Each House wants to claim ownership of the whole, and the weapons they use to wage this war are Battlemechs, giant 20-100 ton walking tanks which field a variety of weaponry from lasers to missiles to autocannon. After a few hundred years of grueling warfare the 5 Houses of the Inner Sphere have blasted their technology back to late 21st century levels, and no one knows how Mechs work anymore. Only a few plants are left that can produce Mechs at all, and yet the demand for Mechs has not abated.
Come on! The whole game is filled with this! 
Give me my trusty 45 ton HCT-5S Hatchetman and an urban landscape to battle in for a few hours over pretty much any other form of entertainment anyday! The BT universe is great and the novels are must-reads too.
