With this find, I think I've completed the Blokus family of games - Blokus, Travel Blokus, Blokus to Go, Rumis [Blokus 3D] and Blokus Triagon. In "shrink" (had the little plastic seals over the edges). $3.43 at the Value Village on New Hampshire Ave.

I know I have too many unplayed 2-player abstracts, but I think this one has good odds of table time. One copy of the rules scrunched but with an intact second copy at the bottom of the box, and everything else in like-new shape. A nicely produced little game.
$4 at the Salvation Army, Victoria Hillside.

I also grabbed this - Travel version (as opposed to Duo and whatever other iterations there are). This was $2.99 - and quite complete. I have the original Duo version, but this is such a nice one to pass along or add as a sweetener for a math trade I couldn't pass it up.

Educational Insights - this edition is called "Travel Blokus", not Blokus Duo, but it's the same thing. Excellent condition. Free shipping to CONUS. Comes with a sweetener - Jungle Speed - the version with the plastic totem. Comes in the bag (the box is discarded because it's unnecessary), but the cards are still in shrink.

despite what it looks like this game has a different feel that the original blokus. I like the back and forth feel that this game has.

$2.99 at Talize. This was in the hanging bag section, with a glow in the dark dinosaur puzzle. I got this one not caring if it was complete - so long as it had the one piece I am missing to my other Blokus Duo - the purple 1x1.
There were no rules, no storage trays, and there were 2 pieces missing, both of them purple, and one of those was the 1x1. Aaaaaarrrgh! All orange pieces are accounted for.

I was so excited after finding Cathedral world, I almost missed this!
It's much smaller that Cathedral World, but I've been wanting a copy of Blokus (or Blokus Duo) for a while. I almost picked this up at the local games store last friday. Thank goodness I got martian dice instead!
It's in great shape, only missing one piece (the 1x1 purple piece).
$2.99 at Talize.

I knew getting this game would be a risk. DH is much better at these types of games and, sure enough, I got trounced three times in a row. I enjoyed it though and with enough plays I think I'll be able to hold my own.
