Hi. I didn't even notice that yours was spelled "Conveyer". I've never encountered that spelling before, and so just read it as "Conveyor". I can change it on my copy, if you prefer?

As for the graphics, I'm not at all happy with the repulsor field thing (does it have a name?). I just copied the image from your bits and fiddled with the colours. But I think it needs a lot of work to blend in - it looks fine on yours, but clashes on mine, alas.

Gareth

PS. I hope you don't mind me adding your boards. The aim, of course, is to include every board I can find!
No, that's OK.
I just had a look through my copy of the game and found that the game itself uses Conveyor. I don't know where I picked up the other variant. (But it's legit - look it up! )

I don't know where exactly it found the beam thing, but it's called Pressor Beam, just like the Option Card (and it works the same way).
But I still have the graphics set I used to make that board, if that is any help to you.

And I don't mind at all that you used the board (and my "Castle" board, too). In fact, I'm a bit flattered.
GeekMail me your eMail and I'll give you the graphics set and a handful of other custom boards.
Deal?

Found this at the GW outlet as well for ~.99. Components bagged and looks to be complete. It always amazes me that some things will survive at the outlet since there are always dozens of people digging and throwing stuff around.

EDIT: After doing a full inventory everything is there except the mini's shake

I've watched our closest GW just toss stuff in the dumpster - and seeing/knowing some of the sorters I highly doubt anything goes to an outlet. Looking back over the years I've found less than 10 games there. Most of my GW finds come from a bit further where they have a dedicated game shelf instead of a pile of stuff.

We talking the Goodwill Outlet in Tacoma or Seattle? I've never seen games at the Seattle Outlet. Tacoma does have games, but they're always so mangled that I've given up looking.

This was the Seattle one, the games are mixed in with the toys. Most of the time they are trashed beyond recognition but sometimes you can save a few before they get ripped apart.

Complete and in good shape at a tag sale... $1. Some boards have a slight warp to them but easily fixable. I am not seeing the version that I found though which is a red box, Wizards of the Coast, Garfield Games with metal robots (not sure if other version come with anything other then metal robots). Always wanted to give this game a try - looks fun.

I have no idea how many times I have played this, but I have always terribly failed in this uber-complex brain burner. You know, I really wonder why?! Maybe, it's because I can't distinguish "left" from "right", while others are real experts in that specific discipline. Or, maybe it's because I usually only just try to bounce other robots into pits instead of navigating my robot to those boring flags.

Awsome game.

The original! Complete and in very good condition.
Includes painted 'bots - "Twonky", Plod, Flip, Zip, Slam, Wreeeee, Hulk, and Brut;
six (6) boards; program cards; option cards; all markers, reference cards, and rule book. NO BOX.

PLUS! Way back when, you could order additional cards and boards direct from WotC. I have a practically new deck of program cards and two additional boards - a second Cannery Row and a Flood Zone (originally found in Armed and Dangerous).

Minimum Bid: $35

Well, I came in and Edmund was teaching Alex this. He had three flags out, that was a bad sign to me. But, it was only one board and there was only three of us, so I sat down to play.

In it's heart, this game is one that I 'almost' love. But, time after time, the game just drags. But, this one was quite speedy. It was the perfect amount of time, but I guess that's because there was very LITTLE pushing around.

Not sure if it's better quick or dirty, because I don't think this one does quick AND dirty.

I know exactly what you mean about this game. I want to say it's a load of fun and it is...but after a couple hours the fun is dried up and it's just a big dusty turd laying there with everyone hoping someone just gets the last flag already...

I agree with 1 MAYBE 2 flags but 3 is crazy talk. Especially if it's going to be a dirty game...and it should be a dirty game.

There was a very nice girl at the game club who liked Apples to Apples and Uno. I swore to her that this was a cute simple game and she should join us. She spent the next hour watching her robot go in circles and run off the board. I had a hard time getting her to play Dominion later. She did and loved it.

Yup... Done the same thing with this one.

I don't get it personally. It was the 2nd or 3rd real "board game" that I ever played, and it made perfect sense to me. Granted, during that very same game, on phase one of turn one my brother did a back-up straight off the board. The rest of us spent the next minute or two laughing ourselves silly.

As long as you can take other people laughing at your misfortune, this is a great gateway game, imo. The concept is easy. The tricky part is figuring out all the moves you need to make given the cards that have been dealt to you, but that has nothing to do with learning the rules.

I loved Kingsburg, would probably still play it, but I just have a feeling that this deserves the thumb. I can see myself making a homebrew version of this for me to play with Petra and Linus rather than Kingsburg, which needs the expansion for sure. Robo Rally seems like a great possibility for a "create your own" modular game system.

yes, I'm sorry if I didn't make this as clear as I should, I just thought it would be fun for the people that did know one game to badger support with a bit of info and enthusiasm rather than people just voting with stuff they know intimately. And its also OK just to vote for something because you hate the cover or because its Wednesday!

Not forgetting the follow up Rash and Burn. You are allergic to your oboe and must destroy it

English Wizards of the Coast First edition (WOC 5001). Components in very good to like new condition. Box in good to fair condition with surface wear.

Box contents:

RoboRally Operating Manual (instructions) [like new]
2 Factory Floor Guides - player quick reference sheets [like new]
6 factory tiles - modular board [like new]
84 program cards [very good]
26 option cards [like new]
8 pewter robot minis [5 like new to very good, 3 painted]
7 out of 8 robot counters [like new; missing one for LOOK-E-77-P robot]
6 flag counters [5 like new to very good, 1 with damage to the back]
32 robot life tokens [like new to very good]
60 out of 61 damage chits [like new, all identical]

EDIT 3/19 Updated listing with edition and picture
EDIT 3/24 Added detailed inventory and condition notes

EDIT 4/4
Some people have asked about the importance of the robot counter, this is only to designate a robot is in virtual mode. Any other token or status marker can be substituted instead.

Robots, the robot counter is in front of each one:

Likewise the damage chits are just for accounting purposes and can be substituted with anything. Picture of damage chits:

As for the flag counter with damage, the flags are placed face up on the board so the damage to its back has no impact on the game. How the flags are placed is left up to the players.

Picture of flag tile front:

Picture of damaged flag tile back:

Like other very first edition RoboRally games, this one has two "500" Move 1 program cards instead of a "500" and a "600" Move 1 program card. Most owners of the game don't even notice this unless explicitly looking for it. It also proves this set is a "very first" edition.

They reprinted the original game, but they need to reprint the expansions/print new expansions as the old expansions (if you can find them without mortgaging your house and selling off your children) have the old art that doesn't match the new set.

Pretty please?

They need to make a new game based on this. Robo Rally rumble. Same mechanics but played over a smaller/ nastier map with more weapons and easier objectives. Pretty much so you can just blow people away
