$3.99 Value Village. All components minty...except the figures, which were AWOL. Came with the first Companion as well. I like the styrofoam "granite" gridiron, it will look better with paint.

As for teams, instead of dropping $59 on an actual set of figures, I'm repurposing a set of Battleball figures (Blue Team will serve as the Reikland Reavers), and some Orks from Black Reach (Orcland Raiders). May use some Nazi Zombies I made for Incursion as my third team (Champions of Death).

Michael Bay needs to quit. Now. Before he ruins anything else with a stupid concept/rewrite.

Who knows? Maybe he'll come up with the "brilliant" idea that the Transformers were really just everyday objects until they got coated with a radioactive ooze...

You gotta admit, though.... A bagel toaster that transforms into a humongous fighting robot would be all kinds of awesome.

And by "all kinds", I mean "not any kind at all", of course.

AKA The one with the polystyrene board. GW's sculpts weren't quite as nice in this version, but it has a special place in my heart at least, but not on my shelf, so it is up for trade.

The previous owner has also included star player cards cut out from somewhere, also, it had no block dice when I got it, but I have obtained orange(!) ones from the NAF so these come too.

Figure-wise we have:
12 Blue Orcs
16 Red Orcs
16 Blue Humans
13 Red Humans
So there's been some extra figures added, but be aware that they need some more bases if you want them all to be game ready at the same time.

Overall condition I think is average for the quality of GW's game boxes and pieces of the period, but by today's Eurofied standards it is a little ugly.

Not the box...or the rule books or miniatures...
But this is for the Astrogranite and the 3 templates you need to play blood bowl (Passing, Fumble, and Sideline templates). The astrogranite was given a start of a paint job. It's been given a black wash, the skull was painted white and the BB in the center was painted red.
So basically if you have a couple teams...but no place to play, this is for you. I'd like it to go to a good home because I don't see it getting played here...

The box has a split corner, but the components are all in great condition. The rules have been reprinted (in glorious color)

It's got an extra scoring marker, an extra dug out, and an extra template.

However, it's missing 1 blue mini, 1 red mini, 1 yellow base, 1 green base, & the handbook.

It also contains the cards for Blood Bowl Star Players (But nothing else), and some of Blood Bowl Companion:
-The cards

Everything on this sheet, though the counters have been cut out

The vehicles and 5 of the counters from this sheet (3 red, 1 green, and the blue 9)

Soft Reserve: $25
BiN: $55

If you win this and Battleball, I will knock $10 off your total.

SOLD to Ian Allen (glookose) for $25

This is a copy of 2nd edition Blood Bowl, in a large box, by Games Workshop.

I'm not sure whether it is complete or not - it's a bit hard to tell. It has a pimped up board (there are some pictures of it in my gallery) and it also has a shedload (about 60) of additional figures of different teams/races, almost all painted.

In view of the vagueness of this description, if anyone is remotely interested, I'll be happy to unearth more details. If not, I won't bother! Happy to trade or sell, more or less anything accepted as it's taking up space and I can't see myself playing it again. If anyone isn't sure and would simply like to inspect it on the day, let me know and I'll bring it.

I'll start the "Blood Bowl" quotes.

DID YOU KNOW?

That the sorcerous owner of the now-disbanded Mirkheim Mages was the unfortunate victim of a cross-time misunderstanding. He had attempted to summon a new COACH for his team through a timewarp into the future, but was unluckily crushed when a single-decker bus fell on him!

Blood Bowl, 2nd edition as pictured.

The box has shelf wear but is still intact, and the game is complete with all original components, except one of the small plastic footballs (there are three others in the box so this is trivial).

The minis are unpainted and in excellent condition, and the 3 part styrene field is similarly good quality. Probably only seen one or two plays.

Har to sett av grunnspillet (med orker og mennesker i plastutgave, ett sett litt "mindre proft" malt), ett sett DungeonBowl, og ekstraregelbøkene for kampanjespill.

Blood Bowl (Second Edition): Elves, Dwarfs and Dungeonbowl
Blood Bowl Companion
Blood Bowl Star Players

Kan bytte bort alt dette som én item altså. Størrelsen og vekten på disse eskene gjør at overlevering i Oslo-området er å foretrekke

With added bonus: printed and bound Blood Bowl Third Edition Rules, plus I'll throw in Blood Bowl Star Players (Cards cut out, possibly missing one. I can check.)

In great shape! Minis are unpainted, some of the small round jersy number stickers applied to backs, but otherwise minty fresh!

Three exceptions:

Missing the Orc "quick reference card", the dice, and the box lid.

Shipping: Free to North of the 49 (Canada); $10 shipping for the rest of the world!

Some box dishing on the box bottom. Otherwise nice integrity and color. Some wear but nothing unusual beyond the bottom dishing.

Game materials all present. Nothing painted (field or figures). The playing field is in very good shape as are the other game materials. Lightly played game. This edition came with the color coded bases, not the rings.

I will ship for free to US and cover the first $12 elsewhere.

This was the first ever game I picked up at a thrift store. It was about 8 years ago and I walked into a Value Village and saw a few games.

A guy was doing inventory on a Fortress America and I slid this off the top shelf. He asked me if I really wanted that and I said that I did. It was marked at $1.99 (iirc).

I left behind a Starfleet Battles (I think that was the name) and the gentleman counting Fortress America.

Not really my type of game, but I had high hopes of selling it on Ebay.

I ended up trading Blood Bowl for Prophecy (Z-Man edition).

I'd been carrying this game around since I bought it new as a teenager. It was never going to get played, and getting the pre-painted and simpler Battleball made it redundant to me so I traded it for Ticket to Ride.

There were problems, and the trader seemed to be dodgy. After badgering from admins he sent me a new-in-shrink copy he ordered from an online board game shop.

The next day I received two more copies of Ticket to Ride, still in shrink, from another online board game shop.

I contacted him and told him I had now received three copies of Ticket to Ride and asked if he wanted to pay me postage to send two back to him? He declined saying that I could just keep them.

This was my first ever maths trade and, thank God, it could have ened badly, but in the end it was awesome.

In the next trade I traded one copy of my new-in-shrink copies for:
Tikal

and the other copy for:
King Arthur: The Card Game
Circus Flohcati
Tomahawk
Chez Geek

I later traded Chez Geek with a bunch of other stuff I didn't want for a load of games, including Ticket to Ride: The Card Game

back in the day when I used to play bloodbowl 2nd edition; Grimwold Grimbreath was a star Blitzer for the Dwarven Warhammerers, which was the team I used to play... I forget the names of most of the other players... since then, any Dwarven character I've played has usually been called grimwold, and any time I needed an internet handle, I've tried to use grimwold or some variation... mostly I've not had any problem, but occasionally I have to be known as Grimw0ld instead.

You will be happy to know that Games Workshop(r) has been dutifully notified of this blatant infringement upon their trademark! I knew there was a reason that each post of yours I read I misconstrued as a Games Workshop(r) endorsement. Shame on you for displaying your fanfare for such a game in such a public context. Please note that any pictures of you posted here or on the internet, in photo albums, yearbooks, etc. are now de facto violations of said trademark to which a sum to be paid will be tallied to rectify this egregious display of lawlessness.

The pieces are molded plastic in 4 colors, red, blue, yellow and orange. There is no individual painting on the figures. The game has been opened but looks like very little use, everything is in great shape. Hope that helps.

FYI

Yellow are short, probably the dwarves

Orange are tall and thin, probably the elves

Blue are squat and heave (orcs?)

And the red are tall and stocky (human?)

All figures of a color are the same pattern.

I used to own this version of the game but it went up in smoke with the Talisman stack when I left for uni. I've wanted to pick up the latest version for a while now, however a recently released XBOX 360 version of the game pretty much killed my need for a boardgame version.

The PC version actually rekindled my love of Blood Bowl, forcing me at gun-point to get an old pitch and set of dice from ebay and now my local gaming group have started to play a tournament. Ace!
