The equipment cards have helped somewhat, but going back and forth between the equipment tokens and the reference sheet to equip your characters is a real pain. And then at least one ends up dead in the first round or two of the game.

Actually, it seems like the rules re-vamp did wonders for this game.
The movement and sighting rules are still one of it's unique charms.
The quirky characters are always interesting, too. (of course, they didn't bother to write down who was who or anything remotely interesting about a potentially colorful/flavorful game... sigh (again))

One of the first games I bought. The theme and artwork is still very interesting, and I had such high hopes for this game. Boy, did it flop. So much setup for so little game.
