ASL ... yes, this is my Desert Island Game. If I have to give up all my 3000+ games and only allowed to keep one, this would be it. This bloody game stood the test of time. Around for more than 25 years - simply the best.

NEW GAME AFTER THE LIST WAS STARTED
Why I bought this game: It's a nice little (underrated) card game (you could say it's the first one in the Rüdiger Dorn 'Dragon trilogy' - followed by Emerald and Dragonheart) that I wanted to get for long.
When I bought it: March 2012
The reason why it is unplayed: It's new.
How and when it can get played: It needs at least 3 players - we'll see.

Similar idea as the indiscretion deck, but with a couple extra suits and maybe a couple extra ranks and some "gold chits" on the cards. I think you are fighting for gold chits. I was given a deck but I'm not a big fan of the art so I haven't gotten it played yet.

Something of a cult favourite in Ross-on-Wye, this is yet another great Rudiger Dorn game. Having the suit, but not the rank displayed on the back of your cards works pretty well (although perhaps not quite as effectively as intended), and there's plenty to keep an eye on, even when lagging behind.
6 Months Later - Slipped somewhat to among the weakest of the 8-rated games. It's probably in about the right place and the fact that it's not in any danger of slipping out of the 100 any time soon is still significant.

I was rather surprised to find I was the only Gargon player this month. A 4P session on the 14th which you can find documented in the Ross-on-Wye blog.
Great game which clearly doesn't receive enough attention.

Had a couple that my wife and I used to play this with all the time. When they moved we gave them our copy that we use to write all the end scores in the box top as a "remember us" gift.
Had to go buy another copy. Haven't played it nearly enough since then.
