I really liked playing this the first time at Eric's...mostly because James and me won. Most likely because of James' 2 dynamites... No really, it was fun!

He deserved his fate!
Yes!! my brother deserved his fate for what he did to us while playing one of the best AD&D adventure ever published... The temple of elemental evil - 1985 original ed. of course! You agents will never get it don't you? It wasn't his duty to kill us all at the end of a 2 years campaign that we played each saturday night faithfully... he simply had to run the story. Bad decision, very bad decision on his part i dare say!!
So I, Vorpalgens, Admiral Black, or
whatever you want to call me , took the initiative of contacting the members of the Black foot gang , the greatest RPG group ever assembled in order to extract revenge for what he did to us. Afterall, gaming is serious... deadly serious if you know what i mean
PS: You should have a last look at my overtext... for a message of general interest!
_______________________________
I was delighted when Sam offered me to participate in this great adventure (maybe my revenge next year? who knows...) and i had lots of fun. I wanted to be more implicated than being only the "avenger" thus the creation of Deathologist to participate more. Me being the murderer is also why you didn't really had a chance to ID Deathologist since i had to stay low profile with Vorpalgens.
Congrats to you 3 brave agents (Hello Mabby, fellow canadian how close is this considering that geeks from the world participated) for dodging our gun shots, bombs, fireball and finally found me. Well deserved!!
My MVPs now:
To fellow assassin Oliphant: for his brillant anagram puzzles... this was very clever!!
And to all of you who participated in order to make this adventure a unique experience, one of a kind!
___________________________
True story:
The total party kill did happened 22 years ago back when we did play The temple of elemental evil for 2 years!! At the beginning of our usual evening saturday night everything went as usual, having fun and so on... we were at the final of the four section (earth) knowing what we had to do to destroy the temple and 15mins later while battling some basilisks we were done only by having failed our really good save vs petrification.
I always remember this one since i was the Orb holder and the last alive. I could have sue it to save us but useing the orb was evil... and i was a lawful good knight.
It was very easy to go along with this murder reason... since it was a personal goal fr me
Crime doesn't pay i guess

Sunday:
2x Bang! The Bullet! - Pulled out this game for the first time in a long time. Two quick games (5p and 7p) and the outlaws won both games. In the first game the sheriff had the ability to play any card as a miss. Dynamite saved my team putting the sheriff at 1 hit, vs the other outlaw left at 3 hits. That was enough to turn the tide to actually land a hit and end the game. In the second game, the sheriff got hit by his own dynamite after it circled the table once and the 3 outlaws pounced on him quickly. While I was Willy the Kid (volcanic) as a renegade, I couldn't help out, and the sheriff went down quickly.
1x Survive: Escape from Atlantis! with Survive: The Giant Squid - This was a relatively quick and deadly 3 player game. We used the dive dice and not many meeples survived the sea serpents quickly roaming the boards. My brother won 12-10-5
2x Wits & Wagers - This is my default >8 game to play, especially with strangers. This game is always hilarious as people right crazy numbers that are obviously wrong. I was completely out of the first game, but in the second I had a strong showing until the winner knew the last answer and bet big on it. I ended up in second with over 25 chips, but it wasn't enough.

This is a game I could play over and over again. There are a lot of characters and roles people can play. the game also becomes more interesting over time instead of less.

8-player game.
Alex taught a new expansion: Bang! Gold Rush
Outlaws won. I think this may have been my first time in Bang triggering the win for my team, as I took down the Sheriff in back-to-back duels.
I had one of the new expansion characters who can take an extra turn on a draw of hearts or diamonds, very nice character indeed...

The "Bullet" has a couple of small dents in it, and there is no insert inside. What is inside, however, are the original two decks of Bang! still factory sealed in cellophane, plus The Dodge City, High Noon, and A Fistful of Cards opened, but in unused condition. Uncle Will, Johnny Kisch, and Santa Claus cards are also included, plus the two blank cards all looking brand new. Original rule set included.

Great game, though more light than others listed, and can handle up to 8 players. The fact that where players sit in relation to others affect how they can interact with them adds to the fun.
I recommend the Bullet version because of the included High Noon, Fistful of Cards, and Dodge City expansions, which helps with the variety and replay-ability.
