This sticker is enormous. It’s actually big enough to smother someone if you stick it over their face. Or...so I...um imagine. *looks shifty*

Comment: Great production value. Based on a well-known fairy-tale. Fun (but light) game for the youngest kids in the family.

AWARDS RECORD 2009 Nominations/Recommendations ** Spiele des Jahres, Nominee, Children's Game of the Year
THE VIEWS OF BGG The Good: "This game is just plain old hide and seek in a boardgameversion. But with only 5 (fast)seconds time to hide, this childrens game becomes hilarious. Excellent filler. Play with as many as possible. "
The Bad: "VERY light. Probably fun with kids, but too light for me personally."

1) Dice games, race games and euro efficiency are all scarce in my collection.
2) Metropolys, Scripts and Scribes, Jambo, unpublished prototype and Grand Tribunal were my last five.
3) Christmas 2007 was my last brush with Agricola.
4) The SdJ nominees: Pandemic made me sick, Dominion I've played enough, that leaves...a puzzle...a trivia game...and, by process of elimination, Finca.
5) Nicht zu Fassen has to be the children's game - furniture, goats, wolves!
6) Occasionally. A friend has a nice piece of green baize cloth.
7) Two hours, medium complexity, four players.
8) Yes - Cliffordcon, SoRCon, Baycon already attended, plans to attend Manorcon and another Cliffordcon, probably not Essen this year unless the Pound strengthens against the Euro.
9) No.
10) Thornton's 85% Extra Dark Chocolate Block.

The pieces are 3D cardboard models... along with wooden goats & a small stuffed wolf.

17,000 since 2009 according to an informative Feb 2011 blog post by designer Frederic Moyersoen:
"Nicht zu fassen, which has been launched in 2009, has reached 17,000 sold copies... [The] game is only available in Germany and France."
This compares to his better known and more widely distributed title, Saboteur, which has sold 350,000 since 2004.

Based on the Brothers Grimm-collected tale The Wolf and the Seven Young Kids, a close relation of some versions of Little Red-Cap. Not one of the most famous fairy tales today (and really more of an "animal tale" depending on how one categorises them) but one I'm familiar with through it's inclusion in the main book of fairy tales I had as a child.
