Greg, Chris, Rachel and others played this classic. I am going to guess that Greg won...

Ricochet Robots
  Dust Level - 3 Years 6 Months 13 days
Somehow I forgot about this game, as it's not one that was very popular in my gaming circles (though my brother rather enjoys it)... but one night when some friends were round we got to talking about this game and ended up playing it.... and my wife who had never played it before really enjoyed it and was very surprised that I'd never taught it her.
An excellent little puzzle game, that is definitely more suited to some people than others.
Galaxy Trucker
  Dust Level - 9 Months 27 days
Another excellent game that doesn't get played as often as it should... but fortunately the layer of dust on this one was less than a year.
Arkham Horror
  Dust Level - 6 Months 7 days
I can't believe it's been more than 6 months since I played my no1 favourite game.. it really needs to hit the table more.... The sad thing is, I know exactly where the last play was... it was at the exact same game day that we got to play it this month (the excellent Bolton Gnome All-Dayer which happens twice a year) .

As required by Washington State law, we began with a round of Ricochet Robots. As you can see by the next item, it wasn't the only initial choice available, but it was the only morally acceptable one.
We provide two visual puzzles for the benefit of absent readers, because Tim remembered to take a couple pictures this time. The first can be done in seven moves, while the second takes (as of the moment) ten.
At any rate, Tim, Jerry, Scott, Counterclockwise Scott, Kyle, Jeff, and, at the last minute, Caleb all earned at least one valuable chip to add to their respective collections. Zounds!

Mine is the first English edition "Ricochet Robot," as shown, not "Ricochet Robots." It has different boards than the later edition. Box shows some shelf wear, otherwise excellent condition. English language.
Ships free within the U.S. I'll pay the first $10 to other locations.

Ricochet Robots is hugely underrated. There is very little down time. Absolutely no luck involved. Everyone is working on the same "puzzle" at the same time. This game truly is a battles of the wits and can be taught in about 60 seconds.
Does anyone have a better lower-ranked game?

We finally reached a straggle-in quorum at the appointed hour, so, of course, we played our now-standard game of Ricochet Robots. Those of you who hate this game can take solace in the fact that at least it's not Zendo (spoiler alert!).
We provide two puzzles to amaze and delight our devoted readership, because Tim remembered to take some pictures this time. You are all welcome.
Tim, Nyck, Scott, Aaron, Bryan, Caleb, and Jeff all earned at least one chip. Andy forgot to include himself while making the scoresheet, so, despite the fact that he solved several puzzles, he shall get no official credit for them. Ha! Ha!

$1.99 at a Beaverton GW. Complete and in great condition.
Found this at stop number 2 of 4 this evening. I'm standing there looking at all the usual crap on the shelves and thinking "Why did I drag myself out here in the rain for this?" Then I look down on the floor and see--half buried by toys and face down--Ricochet Robots! Yay! Instantly made the whole trip worth it, even though it was the only thing I bought.

On this very special night, we began with an extremely rare game of Ricochet Robots. In honor of the occasion, we present not one but three very special sample puzzles. Huzzah!
Okay, that's kind of boring, but it's what we had when we remembered to take a picture. How about this one?
Alright, still nothing special, despite the kind of interesting use of the silver robot. But, that's all the pictures we have. If only we could change the target...
Ah, much better. My original solution had this at fifteen; a few minutes more work had it down to thirteen. Andy found a ten move solution which was less convoluted than either one, but at least it's still double digits and thus passes the requirements for being "interesting". Success!
Anyhoo, Tim, Nyck, Andy, Nathaniel, Leif, Bryan, Lynette, Caleb, and Rachel all found at least one solution during the game itself.

Ricochet Robots x2
JAB: Realtime boxing x3 Container x2 Homesteaders x1
I had a Spanish friend from Netherlands coming for a visit. He goes every year to Essen, so he is into the hobby, which means GAME PARTNER!
I finally got to play JAB and I LOVE IT. We had a blast and played 3 games straight. Very fast to play and we explore different ways of winning. It was great.
At night we played Ricochet Robots for the first time and I won both games (we played with all 17 chips each game). We massively enjoyed it, trying both sides of the modular board.
On Tuesday I got to play two of my favourite games: Homesteaders and Container (twice). I failed miserably to win by 1 VP in Homesteaders and 1 dollar in Container (one of the games). That was a bit devastating, but I had a great time.
