This particular game has Godzilla fighting other Toho movie monsters as a hex-based wargame. It has the same game designer as the "Godzilla Computer Wargame 03".

Includes counters and 9 figures to represent the people and monsters. Map is made up of 2 mounted boards (double sided, making for two different 2-board-size maps).

I ate half a bowl of Corn Flakes once and noticed a chewy consistency to the flakes. It turned out a family of moths chose the box to live in. They had been dead quite some time, the result of a grocery store not rotating their stock regularly. I still get a little gaggy looking back on it.gulp

Common phobia in Japan.

I saw a moth fly into a crowded subway car once there.

Or was it a cobra? Eh, SAME REACTION. surprise

Had one fly into my face when i was in hopital as a kid and was scared of them for years. However I now run moth nights as part of my job which involves sitting by a light while they fly in, then putting them into pots to hand round for people to get a close look (before releasing them).
I guess I have got over my fear now!

This one looks truly epic, but Japanese + OOP = I'll never see it. There is a nice translation of the rule book in the BGG files for the game.

The Moth Podcast! The Moth is a New York program dedicated to helping people tell their stories. Each week on their podcast they showcase a story from one of their Mainstage storytelling series or their open-mic "storySlams," true stories told live and and without notes. The storytellers range from famous, well-known individuals (a few months back they featured Neil Gaiman telling a hilarious story from his youth) to ordinary folks right off the street. At times funny, sad, touching, uplifting, or silly; often all of the above at once.

My wishlist is full of untranslated Japanese games I couldn't play even if I owned them... This one, however, has an English translation on BGG!

It's either this or Monstret som slukade Stockholm
(with no English translation, unfortunately)

My tastes are weird, but modest... cool

When I do think of moths, I think of moth-ridden coats that need to be discarded. Wasn't that supposed to be like Tom Coughlin's coaching situation?

Predicted by many as 'first coach to be fired this season', Coughlin overcame an 0-2 start with a 10-4 regular season finish and a 4-0 romp through the playoffs, capping an incredible season.

Somehow, I don't think he'll be fired anytime soon. Then again, it is New York, so we'll leave the speculation to the fall of 2008.

I translated the only game on this list that had scanned instructions on the web (it has since been removed).

Unfortunately none of the remaining games have instructions available to base a translation on.

Well, I own one of the Tsukuda Macross games from the other list (Space Fold) and could easily scan the directions for translation purposes. I think it would be cool to have English-language rules on the site for a game non-Japanese speakers (like me) might end up picking up.
