English edition. Like new, most cards are unplayed and a subset has been played a couple of times. I sleeved a few with Dragon Shields to make an Epic Thunderstone set which I only got to try a little.
As such this game is not fully sleeved, and I do not recommend the Mayday brand sleeves with Thunderstone due to card width. I suggest seeking out KMC standard (not 'perfect fit') sleeves as the best alternative.

Did a variant on the preset Fantasy layout ... substituted Clan Sergeants for Dwarves, and Magic attack clerics instead of the Non-magic attack clerics. Last time I'll put in the death traps ... really sucked the fun out of the game. Also stacked the monster deck so that the harder monsters (dragons) were at the bottom of the deck.

Saturday morning, I sat down with Dale, Jeanette, Blake and...Ben? (damn I hate forgetting names!). We played Thunderstone, the Epic variant. All of the cards, mixed together, so you never knew what would be coming up next in the piles or in the monster pack. I have to admit, I like this variant of Thunderstone MUCH better than plain, vanilla Thunderstone. It CAN make things a bit more chaotic, as you'll get strong monsters or heroes out early, and relatively weak ones out late (when you need strong heroes). But it was fun. I came in last with a meager 28 points. Ben (?) romped us all with nearly 70 points! He had all but one of the Thunderstones in his deck. Ouch!

Box corners of lid are scuffed and one is completely ripped. Cards were always sleeved during play so they are in Excellent condition.
