Ebayed. Another game I did not really want to sell. I played a few times at bgg.con a few years ago, and enjoyed it each time (though I got schooled each time). I had sleeved each card in the nice Ascension sleeves, and took it with me for months to game night - never a nibble. So, I decided it had to start paying for itself.

Does not include original box but does include all cards being sleeved in Ascension card sleeves and comes with the smaller yellow Ascension box and the original game board and pieces.
Also included is the Expansion: Storm of Souls in the box but opened and unused.
The expansion also comes with the Soul Collector promo and I'd like to point out that the top right corner of the very front page of the rulebook was torn off - it's about an inch-wide triangle that's missing and doesn't affect the legibility of the rulebook.

A couple years ago, I fell off the wagon and start doing Magic drafts again, which quickly became buying starters and boosters and collector's sets. I had to give it up.
But I did miss having a card game for a friendly game or a quick time filler. I got Ascension. It's a fun game, and because it's single player I can play a game any time I want.

Was it worth it? Yes
I spent a lot of time with this game when it first came out. The BGG run tournaments were a big part of that (Even though I got shellacked!).
Let's admit it, the game is fun to play and I think handels the transition to tablet form very well. Online is rock solid although it could use some features like rankings.
I haven't played much in months, but I certainly got my money's worth!

A bunch of folks came together around the same time, so we got a 6 player game of Ascension going. I think there was an expansion involved as well, but I didn't write it down. Vicky is new to deck building games so Karl walked her through a number of things she could do. I think she got the hang of it just fine.

Only played iOS games last week. Kind of sad and not very exciting but I never really had opportunity to game with either of the groups I usually game with. I should be getting some gaming in this Thursday. I'm hoping to play some combination of these: Ora et Labora, A Game of Thrones: The Card Game (I recently picked up the Greyjoy & Martell deluxe expansions and want to try this with 3 - 4 players), Neue Heimat, Chronicle, and/or German Railways. I suppose if my order shows up tomorrow or Thursday, there could be the possibility of Wiz-War (eighth edition). My order that I'm expecting contains:

Sorry that I'm so late posting this meager offering. My mother's been in the hospital since Saturday and I've also had to work. She has pneumonia and there seems to be some issues with her kidneys. As of yesterday she's better than what she was when she first arrived. I'm going too go and visit her again tonight.

Most of my solo play is on the iPad app, but the expansion adds a pretty simple solo variant that's easy to tune difficulty-wise.

A two player game between my wife and I. It had been a little while since either of us had played, so I made the mistake of having us play until one of us reached sixty honor rather than having us reach sixty honor between the two of us!
This did have the effect of seeing what it would be like when one player went mechana heavy and got a ton of constructs out. Still, we had fun with it, even if the hadron cannon was even more death starish than usual!
