It is! There's not a huge amount of game there, but the brightly colored artwork makes it very attractive to look at. Most importantly, all the kids I've tried this with love it.
Got to take a second trip out today. Saw the Gamewright logo and snatched it up without delay. This is my 3rd Gamewright, but the 1st one I thrifted. $1.99 at Red Racks DAV.
My son, wife and I have a great time with this game. It's completely random, but at the same time it's not mind numbing like some of the other kids' games out there.
Edit: Oh, and my son is just over 3, for frame of reference.
This one went over great with my 6-year-old. It keep him occupied for the better part of a week, both as a game and as a puzzle/activity. (It might have lasted longer, but I'm always bringing home new things from the thrift store...) I enjoyed it too & the bright artwork gives it a nice visual appeal.
I knew Anaya would like this one. I bought it a while ago, and wanted to wait a little bit to give it to her. She loved it.
What I didn't realize was that my wife would love it!
Anaya's favorite thing to do with this game is to take all of the 'head' and 'tail' cards and make baby snakes! Which of course means I have to start singing the Frank Zappa song.
Had a great first day of thrifting in 2012. Picked up this card game for .99 at Catholic Charities Thrift Store (CCTS). All the contentsss were like brand new!
