A nice game, where as Greece I managed to get a very strong army and defeat Spain and Arabia.
Democracy is very good combined with the right choosing of techs.
It was good to see the altoght Arabia and Spain are good civs, the right amount of planning combined with a little luck and you can destroy both of them.

Next up was Civilization. ... Ugh. Not my kind of game. Way too many moving parts, especially for a learning game at a convention. To be honest, it's too many moving parts for me in general.

Math Trade time! Matt plonked down my spanking new copy of this and accepted the 'Random
Box Bag Of Stuff' which I had traded with pretty good grace, considering the amount of redundant shelf-filler that was in it.

How terrible is to setup this great game, almost take 30 minutes to deploy with 2 person making the setup. You should use plastic bags for each player to improve the setup time.
Have some satisfaction placing the tiles face down.

"Interesting and relatively fast for a civilization game, and multiple paths to victory that don't simply involve different ways to get points. There is so much going on with every card and tile that it's a massive mental undertaking for me just to focus on one of the paths." (The Eye)
Do multiple paths mean big games?

All the components are in great condition. The box base has a tear on the edge, it doesn't make the components fall out but it's there, and a few inches.
