(27 plays in 2005, now 58 total) I played a lot of this solitaire in 2005, mostly with the wrong rules, which is an achievement in itself. I'm not so interested in it any more, but Scrabblettte loves it dearly so it has progressed to her shelves and is no longer officially in my collection.

Ingenious would fit the bill nicely. The abstract components and tile trays have a bit of a Rummikub feel, and the rules are fairly easy to explain and lead to pretty engaging game play.
