That is an awesome picture. Just the sheer amount of stuff in the box. It's very similar to Descent: Journeys in the Dark in that manner.

I should do something like this for all of my descent stuff... except that would require repacking it all as well.. *shudder*

I had to "de-brood war" Starcraft by removing all the Brood War replacements/components, so it was just Starcraft components, which was a bit confusing.

The ONE single counter I managed to lose in my copy of the game taunts me in this pic! Up until now it was easy to pretend that it just didn't exist.

Have you tried getting in touch with FF? They're really good about replacing things, usually.

I had some great times with this one in my early hobby days. StarCraft was the second board game I had bought and it was a blast.

That's a pretty freaking hardcore game for your second purchase. \m/

I know. I never had a "gateway" period. I played Catan for a couple of times then moved to the real stuff

No, I haven't. Part of me feels like a moron about it. I'm about 95% sure I never even punched it out (left it on the sheet) - usually I'm meticulous about that sort of thing (both punching and keeping track of counters - the old wargamer in me), and I don't even throw out punched sheets until I'm 100% sure I have every last part, but I guess I just missed it this time. Wouldn't even bother me that much, except it's one of the single ones that there's no duplicate of.

I'll probably try contacting them in the new year. thumbsup

Just kidding! Beautiful pic. How far up a ladder did you have to get to take it?

I'm curious what you find unappealing about them. I like them, but I'll agree they're very "busy" visually if that's the issue.

If only there were some other pictures of the game here on BGG so you could look at ones that do suit your needs/tastes.
