I'm not sure that it's really as good as two for the price of one since they share attacks against them. That said, it's a very interesting ability and synergizes well with Tacullu because saving magic on champions allows for more counter summoning.
Also, using A Hero is Born on Talu/Kalu effectively fetches two champions.
Oh, definitely not like your getting 2/6 for three magic, but they are easy on the wallet AND you can ALWAYS get them out in one turn, meaning a nice surprise attack could ensue.
Yeah, I think the point about saving magic for a big unsummon is a good one.
You can get some deep penetration onto your opponents side of the board with wall placement. You could get a guy onto your opponents third line, and THEN move two! That should allow an attack on most anything with at least one of these guys since they are ranged.
