Why is it that every time that someone posts a picture of some females playing a boardgame everyone ends up falling over themselves in their over-exitement? This is a picture of three women playing a boardgame. The picture has 22 thumbs-up, has been tagged with "wow" and "girls" and its comments are basically along the lines of "wouldn't mind being stuck on an island with them eh? eh? nudge nudge, wink wink, say no more...". People already think that we are a bunch of geeks for playing games, lets not confirm those views by acting like a bunch of hormonal teenager geeks too.

Hate to say it, but the only girl in that picture that I find attractive is the one with the graphics, and she looks much better in this one: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/143192
She looks very similar to my fiance.

But seriously guys, let's be adults and not make a huge scene over girls when they show up. It's very demeaning to women. Some of the comments over this image were very unnecessary, about wet dreams and such. Please have a little respect.

Doesn't the phrase "send me abroad" mean "send me on board of a ship" or "send me overseas" or something like that?

Why don't cute girls play boardgames in the US? I saw a girl the other day with a t-shirt that said I "heart" nerds, and I almost fainted!

I didn't realise you were still on the prowl. As happens, while she was thoroughly taken with a certain young man's "monkey love dance", she also observed that she liked Medieval Merchant "because it wasn't random or lucky, you had to judge and play off the other players." What's not to like, and a veterinarian too?

Good thing she wasn't playing one of those silly blind bidding games...

Hey, lots of cute girls play board games in the US! I've seen several at various times, see a few particular ones almost every week, and occasionally I even am one myself, if opinions I've heard are to be trusted. (And I love Through the Desert, too.)

I'm lucky. My fiance likes all my boardgames (except Memior '44). She's also big into RPGs(not the boardgames) on 360, PC and such. Unfortunately she won't even mess with D&D because she has no imagination. Hopefully she'll like WOWtBG when it comes in.

Define "cute."

Has anyone considered the fact that most people (forget about whether they play games or not) are average on the attractiveness scale. By definition.

Thus, if a person of above-average comeliness is pictured, it draws attention. Sadly, there are so few women at this site that we don't get the same reaction when (if?) hot guys are pictured.

You probably wouldn't notice if they did, cause you'd faint anyway.
