Interesting and cool. It looks like all the insects of a given type are identical; did you create some sort of metal die/stencil/something and burn or cut the same pattern into multiple blocks? (And then manually cut away part of the background for one player's set, it appears.) Is that why they have a square on them (to help stabilize the insect legs)? Please tell a little about how you did this.

These are seriously cool. Good job! I wish I had the skills to do this myself.

I have the bakelite version, but if I saw this wooden one for sale I'd snatch it up in a instant.

What are the two blank ones towards the top?
