*wow* This picture shows the quality of the materials. Those counters are thick... I can't believe people were complaining about the construction of this version.

after receiving this one in a math trade, I am really, really impressed with the quality of the board and bits. It is light years above the quality of the Die Macher reprint. The only gripe I have is with some of the illustrations and the board is hard to read, but it is beautiful. The board lays perfectly flat and fits together just right.
