I use 1 of the Plano 3650's for each faction. It holds and separates the figures, the bases and upgrades, workers, transports and order tokens. The six of them fit in the box with room at one end for 2 faction tuck boxes, the event tuck boxes, resource tuck boxes, first player marker and conquest track. The other 4 faction tuck boxes lay on the plano 3650's along with the planets (3 per stack), connectors (3 stacks of 5 bagged) and reference cards.

I put the planet tokens in one Protoss case and the Z-axis markers in the other Protoss case (they each had an empty bin). Everything packed away comes right up to the top of the box so the lid fits flush and everything is nice and snug. The fit is so good that you do not have to worry about any other box sitting on the Starcraft box caving it in.

I was hoping to find info like this being posted here.

Thanks for sharing! The details about your setup is much appreciated.

I got mine at Walmart in the US but any major fishing supply store should have them for probably 50 cents to a buck higher then Walmart.

I'm using 3650's as well, but I put the figures for two factions in one case. One extra case holds all of the cardboard - chits, connectors, etc. That leaves ample room for card boxes and planets on the other side (and I save about $5 as well).

Thanks for the picture and info. I looked at the 3650 at walmart and couldn't decide if the pieces would fit and if 6 of them would fit in the box nicely. Thanks for taking the guess work out of it.

hi Tim,
realy nice. And your methode is more than a storage but an organizer during the play, so the player area doesn't look like a mess. Thanks.

I should buy stock in Plano.

I use their organizers for a LOT of my games, Tide of Iron, World of Warcraft, Twilight Imperium, Railroad Tycoon, Dungeon Twister, Dragon Dice, Die Macher, Attack!, Axis & Allies, Age of Empires, Heroscape, ...

Yes. I have all of the pieces for 1 player are in 1 case.

Everything from Brood Wars is in my main Starcraft box and the only thing in the Brood Wars box are some pieces that were replaced from the main game with the expansion.
