While I like Star Wars ships, and TI3 ships by pseudo-extension, I think it's kind of refreshing to have "different"-looking ships.

I think sometimes sculpts get so focused on what people "already know" that before you know it, anything NOT fitting that norm is shunned.

I kinda like these ships


My question is: What's up with the pawns? They don't seem to belong in this game, and I can't find what they'd be for in the components manifest in the rules.

humm... well I only have the TI 2nd Ed. ships and they are kinda flat and look very cheap. The ones in GE do look very "modern" and more 3D.

I like them, at least from the pics so far. I hope I still like them when I hold them in my hands ;-)
