Your rendition of Varikas is so expert, it might cause the ocean to boil.

I was looking at mine today and they ARE small. They don't seem to have much actual facial detail. They seem kind of "soft" as far as detail goes. This is compared to my Warmachine miniatures though.

Thanks a lot for your comments I just started painting my Descent heroes, I'll post the others as fast I can. I had to take a break with painting since some days.

Yes, those miniatures are very small and painting the faces especially is such an hard task. I had to make three tries for Mordrog. In order to make characters expressions better looking, I had to "draw" some details myself, I did not totally follow the natural sculpting job. These took a lot of time to paint, Mordrog was harder than his friend ...

Some characters are much more detailled than others, that's a bit strange .. While the bald guy with the huge armor or "one hand" are well made for their size, some like Varikas or Red Scorpion looks too simple IMO. Noses, especially, are a bit flat.

I was first thinking of doing some conversions with green stuff but I'm not experienced enough to do so. Maybe I'll try it on monsters.

Very well done! I cant seem to commit more then a few hours per mini because there are soo many of them to paint. But I certainly admire good work and effort when I see it!

So much detail on such a small piece too, incredible patience. Thanks for sharing!
