I downloaded all the "game in progress pictures" from the base game page. I couldn't find a quick way to do this so it was done by hand.

Then I used a program called AndreaMosaic to make it. It took a couple of variations on the parameters.

I tried unlimited duplicates. It looked really nice but pictures were duplicated so many times that it looked very silly in certain areas.

I also tried up-ing the photo modification setting but that created black holes shake

I like how it ended up.

UPDATE:
Hmm... after looking at this picture I realized a single picture is used waayyyy to many times. So I put together another one.

I've uploaded it to my personal gallery. It's a little less redundant but also a little more "blurry".

You can find it here: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/327150

Thanks again all.

That one photo of the individual sideways holding his/her chin looks like it is repeated way over 12 times. Am I mis-identifying it somehow?

This mosaic is quite cool . . . I just am interested in how it was made!

Yeah it does look like a lot were repeated more than 12... Maybe I had to make it 20 something... Now I don't quite remember

Hmm... Well, sorry about that.

The program (AndreaMosaic) looks at a collection of pictures and analyzes them with in the given parameters to make it look like the target picture.

In some instances it rotated them. In other instances it change the hue/tone. And the most common is to use a picture multiple times.

All you need to do is give it pictures to choose from; in this case I downloaded all the "in progress games" pictures locally (some 200 of em) and put them in the same directory.

I tried several different parameter permutation to get something I liked. It takes a while to put the picture together because it has to build it.

I hope this help.

BTW THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT

You might have used wrong parameters in this mosaic application, because that person holding her chin is in there way more than 20 times.
