I remember a time when part of the fear of facing a vampire was that he could be anyone. In Dracula, the Count was kind of weird, and while the reader knew immediately what he was, it took Jon Harker some time to figure it out. But here...
"She's dead. Bite marks on her neck..." "Vampires?" "But nobody but us was in the room" "That means that someone among us is a vampire!" "But who? Was it the drifter? Or the soldier? Or what about the guy with fake teeth, huge ears, and a face made out of rubber?"
What? You've never heard of the old movie "Nosferatu"? I guaran-darn-tee you the vampire didn't look normal in that one.
As for "photo-shopped" teeth, you're just being silly.
This could easily be the DVD cover for a softcore porno. What worked on Last Night on Earth seems unbearably cheesy here. Maybe it's the period costumes or something.
Well, as I get older I am becoming more and more partial to bald guys, so I don't mind so much.
But I think the "Spectral Horseman" would have been better as a representative monster on the cover. I really like the one with a bluish background as seen in the collage below.
Can any one give some thought on How this game plays? What games would you compair it to? And did you like it? So the cover art sucks does is it a matter? And the teeth are so a false set.
