I cannot begin to express the amount of angst that the thought of sorting these is causing me. I must go lie down now.

I own and enjoy playing C&C Ancients.
But this picture reminds me of how I don't like the build your own game mentality of block games. I don't think I would buy this game again if I had to apply all those stickers and is a good reason why I have not bought any expansions... even though I want to.

on the plus side of stickering: the black ones only need a sticker on 1 side!
but ...
there aren't that many black ones. at all. 56 on 1095. That's roughly 5%. Don't start crying now please, you already wasted so much time stickering.

I find stickering is quicker than punching chits and cleaning them up with with an xacto knife...
That is a lot of stickering, though!

The stickering is a pain, but the game is worth it. Ronster, start buying the expansions and sticker up.

Putting stickers on all of the blocks is still better than clipping the edges off all the chits of a brand new GMT game !

Seeing that picture makes me want to run for my ziplock bags. They need sorted and they need it now!

I was thinking to grab some of my larger plano boxes, bags would be OK, but they need to be stacked square in nice little compartments. Their own bags would still be to messy for nice square pieces. OCD it's not just a catchy acronym; it's a way of life!

I don't have the game so I have to ask: Is that only the blocks from the base game? Or are all the expansions in that big pile too?

That is a lot of stickering, though! I clip the corners of me counters with an electric cable-cutter and it's a thousand times better. It just works with a spring like a nail-clipper and it becomes something automatic you can do while watching TV. BTW, have all them blocks from base set and expansions of CCA and I got the firm conviction I've had enough.
