The board is indeed bigger. The chits are easy to move around.
If we did it over again, we would probably include a little "dead zone" to place wear points that have been used. That way, you could slide your tires down there and be able to replace them quickly when you pit.
Wow this is cool, and would work really well for other games. I'm already thinking about Arkham Horror. I wonder, with the right maganetic material if you could make a generic sheet that had a plastic cover so you couls slide an investigator in it and still use magnetic sanity, health and skill sliders without losing attraction with the added material.

Is it too difficult to flip the magnet over to it's blank side and then flip back after you pit?
Awesome! If riliff created it, how'd you score this one, John??
Bob and I are in the same league. He did the work, and I financed most of it.
We made two sets of 10 (we currently have two divisions with 8 cars each), with him taking one set and me the other.
He said for several weeks that he was going to shoot his set and post it here, but he never got around to it. I had the camera out the other day, and, well ....
(I did give him the resulting , in case you're wondering.)
It was definitely a good thing that John finally shot/posted these, as it seemed like I would never get around to it.
Making them, on the whole, wasn't very hard – just time consuming. The tricky part was cutting the metal dashboards (luckily, I have a friend who had access to a machine shop) and punching out all of those darn chits.
