My 4 year old starts to wonder why we are only placing trains on the red, yellow, green, and blue routes (twister spinner limitations) so she grabs the instructions and walks around muttering to herself as she trys to figure out the right way to play.

Good idea, thanks. I was surprised that it let me type in more than what could be displayed, if I would've known i would've shortened it. It probably should have been shortened anyway. Only a bit got cut off, it was simply this: "(Proud Father)"

I was glad she was aware enough to notice that something was missing with the way we were playing the game, and it was fun to watch her gears turn as she tried to figure it out

Well, the twister spinner only has four colors while TTR train routes are eight different colors. It's not a feature, it's a bug. A spinner with all eight colors would be better. Here's a pic of them anxiously anticipating the spin outcome:
