Oh my, how promptly a just remark is declared a foolishness. Which, alas, doesn't credit a declarator.

Im not entirely sure why you desire to see pictures with terrible lighting, bad focus, and weird angles.... because that is how mine tend to come out.

I have said time and time again... I have NO talent... but I would like to contribute... SO..... I do.

As far as I can she gave credit (and a link) to the original artist. So one poster gave praise without reading that... perhaps your ire should be pointed at the person who actually made the misunderstanding (and I wouldn't even bother with that, it was just a misunderstanding, after all).

Regardless, this is one of several cool pics I would not have seen if Katie hadn't uploaded it so props to her for that.

Thanks Joe... I think the poster might have been quick to stick up for me just because my contributions here at BGG have strangely caused the "Pictoral Battle of 2008"... though I am still not entirely sure why....

But anyway, thanks for havin my back... for some reason Im letting the nitpickers get to me far more than I should, so its nice to hear some kind words.

This picture is a FAKE!

yuk No one could have THIS much fun playing Monopoly, nor would they want anyone to know they invested so much time in such a game!

Sorry, no one else said it. And, it needed to be said. laugh

What's fake about it? She's in anguish over being forced to play monopoly having lost a bet, as he laughs maniacally at the damage caused to her psyche that will take several sessions with her therapist to over come.

It could happen!

OR they are the average boardgame player, who plays for fun and doesn't care what the game is ranked on BGG. Mostly because the majority of individuals who play boardgames have no idea what BGG is.

I would hate to have a boardgame snob at my table, attempting to suck the fun out of a game.

Now, now, let's not start throwing names around at people we don't know. Please don't take my comments too seriously I'm just having a bit of fun here with picture that I like because of the emotions that it portrays, even if it is a set up. However, assuming you have played Monopoly what would you rate it? I haven't played since I was a kid and I'd need to play it again to have a real opinion but I would probably give it something around 4 or 5.

...or, better YET, she might be a humor-deficient politically correct sourpuss who jumps to be the first to defend all victimized participants enduring forced activities of total boredom and who ignores smileyfaces, which are intended to identify comments of mild-hearted intention.

Of course, if we're going to talk about BGG ratings, I'd be making the same comments if you made me play Puerto Rico.cry So, I can't complain.
