Agreed...I think it is hilarious though.

It reminds me of when my buddy Crowebar posted a pic of me playing AT-43. The pic showed me, part of the board and our FLGS in the background. The pic was rejected because it didn't show more of the game. I guess I wasn't good looking enough to be on BGG

That being said, it is great that pics of gamer girlz are showing up more frequently. We need much evidence to dispell the myth that games are geared towards males.

Game on ladies and keep posting those pics BGG users!

This picture has been on here for four days without anyone firing off a broadside about the objectifying of women? No rants about the adolescent nature of men that have been unable to grow up. No twisted jabs saying that it is no wonder more women don't play games with losers like us?

I have to say, this photo has been a disappointment.

Hey now... don't go too crazy with the dress code... just get some sunglasses like the poker players have and practice maintaining your cool. I say scantily clad is a viable strategy, one I would use whole heartedly if I were of the fairer sex.

Damn straight, the weapons of war (or economics for euro gamers) come in many forms. They must be used in order to achieve victory.

For all the talk of distractions all that really happened is the poor guy finally realised the wall is a super sized board of Ticket to Ride. have a careful look at it. Circular rock is a city. Four paths of rectangular blocks heading out of it are four lines toward other cities. He is just trying to figure out how to tell the colour of the cards needed to play on each line.

Dave, no rants from me because (a) the usual adolescents haven't shown up to make adolescent comments and (b) I'm offline for a while anyway.

Nobody ever objected to the photos as objectifying. (sic)

Well, the guy is looking at the local tourist feature.
It is the only place worldwide known, where you can find the stone aged witness of the first gameboard.
So, this is the moment when he finds out where the idea for this nice ticket to ride-game come from.
(For those whon can't see it .. look at the crossing of four tracks with the round brick/stone.)

Edit: Sorry, to early in the morning. Don't got Andrews posting...(His post was lost somewhere in the hills)
