I printed out the counter trays on a craftboard type paper. The sides fold into themselves and 4 fit into the game box holding all counters.

Counter trays were included with my version, although I opted to just use bags so I could keep the counters separated.

I only have 3 in my set. Is that correct?

There should be 4. In the new games we stopped supplying them, since most people stated that they never used them.

My version has them included (all four), but they feel very "cheapy" and easily fall apart.
Compared to many eurogames, with their trays and cardholders, inlays for dice and components, this doesn't stand up to modern standards, methinks.
But after reading the first part of the rulebook (received my copy of the game yesterday) though, it seems that gameplay more than makes up for that!

Anyway, I'm planning to pimp the game, by making some plastic ones.

Starting with Conflict of Heroes: Price of Honour - Poland 1939, the Conflict of Heroes games now come with a large plastic insert that fits hundreds of counters, the cards, and other items. It's very much up to Eurogame quality. So yeah, you'll just have to buy more Conflict of Heroes

LOL, that is a new use for them that I never heard of! Made my morning.

The new plastic trays fit the old boxes snugly. I ordered a few extra ones for those who want to order one.

I think that Phalanx will carry some extra insert trays. I will check with them and make sure that it gets posted.
