Hmmm, only nine different aliens appear to be represented on the cover. Have they announced what all will be included yet?

Wow - it looks good.

And 50 aliens is an excellent place to start in a great base set. Eon finished its run with 75. 75 aliens is a fine number. Eon's aliens ran the spectrum in terms of their effect on gameplay, and more than that number is going to tax the memory of the casual player in between game plays. Although I appreciate elegant homebrewed powers, I think the ideal set has the 75 classic Eon aliens, a few of the good Mayfair additions, and a few great homebrews.

So far, so good.
