I have an acrylic tower, and yes they CAN get noisy, it looks like that is craft foam padding the landings. It cuts the noise a bit, and makes the dice "tumble more" rather than "slide" down the ramps.

It will never sound as good as a nice wood tower, but I DO love watching the dice fall in mine!

Did you make that one from scratch? NICE job if you did!

Asked help from a friend of mine to construct the tower dice. Then I customize it a bit with the foam paddings to cut the noise a bit. Lastly I create the stickers myself by modifying some pictures I got online..

And yes its still a bit noisy, but I guess that's the interesting part too: Listening to the dices as they roll down..
