alrobson (#24277), It resembles the kinds of board/tables used at trade shows/conventions like Spiel in Essen. This one is in English, so I'd assume it's from a US show like Origins or GenCon.
If you look real close, you'll see it's no board but a table, with the playing field printed on it, but this could be interesting to posess as a poster, cause it looks allright! to me!
This is the table used in the Fantasy Flight booth at GenCon. They had tables printed for some of their (more popular) small box games. Very cool idea. Now if they would just package Citadels with those cool butterscotch pieces from Ohne Furcht und Adel.
I was wondering where this came from as well - thought it might have been from a newer edition of the FF edition - which it obviously is not. Too bad it's not part of the components, such as something as simple as a foldout mat - would have been a nice addition/reference/organizer for this game.
I've seen these table at Con of the North before. They're basically a 3x3 table with a specific game mat stapled to the table. I asked Fantasy Flight if they ever sold them, but as of last year, they said they only had enough to bring to cons.
