My family always give me strange sideways looks when I am photographing boardgames, in their opinion it is just another stage of my boardgame related madness so you can imagine the startled faces when I announced that I needed them to pose for a re-creation of a board game cover!!
Although the school holidays are over, La Cite (Carcassonne) is still incredibly busy so we were getting some VERY strange looks from the passers by. (especially Arthur who is wearing the yellow curtain!)
I hope they are just as willing when we re-create the cover of the princess and the dragon expansion pack as one of them is going to have to wear a dress and one of the others has to be the dragon
No, my son George is lurking at the back there, but the slope on the real castle is not as steep as the one in the cover artwork, plus he is smaller and in the shade.
I reckon the horse wasn't willing to pose as one. Nobody likest to be caught bare sticked in public.
Hmm, that didn't seem to come out as intended, maybe I should rephrase that. I don't own this game, not sure it is for me, but I like the pictures of the castle and am tempted to go see where exactly that is and visit some day.
With so many tourists about I wonder how you got them to stay out of the shot long enough.
