So the name has changed from "Brass" to "Coal" in the German edition. Odd, since the game isn't about coal any more than it's about iron or cotton.

But to be fair, you have to acknowledge that in German the word "Kohle" for coal is the same pun as "brass" is in English. It is a common ambiguous word for money that is used in everyday speech, so the translation per se is nearly perfect.

Ok, it sounds a bit silly for a game, the name sounds a bit as it were a game for kids.

gulp In Greek "Kohle" sounds like "(You) ass!!"
I still prefer the original Warfrog edition.

As a boardgamegeek I would always stick to the original version (if english and of good component quality), but I thank every company for releasing a translation since those are simply more attractive to casual gamers.
