I hope you only fight one GOO a game... I mean, think of AH, where you spend the whole game fighting just one! It'd be a bit disapointing (Mythos wise) if you can defeat them all at once...

With the exception of Cthulhu no GOO looks like it was described in the original stories. I'm a bit disapointed, they just look like big but random monsters.

That was my reaction when I first saw these too. I think I'm just comfortable accepting that this game never claimed to be a Lovecraft game, despite the theme, and it has taken its own approach to the GOOs, which is fine and some of them look very cool. I'm not in love with Nyarlahotep, though. Looks pretty boring.
