The Dragon hiding in the background is, as you probably know, NOT from BL, but Heroscape!
I would very much like for FFG to get this archtypal, medieval fantasy creature into our hands, so call it wishful thinking manifesting itself as physical form, or something...

And the retail price is?

Hehe.. I'm just wondering how much these set costs. Believe it or not. I dont have the "core" set yet. So many boardgames.. so little time/money.

Fantabulous!

Maybe some day I'll get around to painting my Battlelore minis (although I kinda doubt it with all the other unpainted figures I've got stowed away). Until then, the best I can do is admire your handiwork from afar!! Great work.

Thanks guys!

...Suddely my life feels empty and without purpose...

Just kidding! But although it has been a fun and engaging project, it also felt REALLY good to scratch it from the mental to-do list!

So now I´m free to spend my energy on other projects... like the BattleLore/Samurai variant I´ve been wanting to do ever since it was a Memoir/Samurai idea...

It's the Battlelore 3D Collector's edition! Seriously, if you were to do the basic Battlelore box with that kind of treatment, how much would you charge?

Thanks!
I would probably charge with as many troops as possible, to maximize attack dice rolling!

Seriously though, I would never consider selling these sets. First, I love the creative part, the problem solving and prototypes, but I really HATE the repetition of mass production. Second, I´ve always got a lot of projects going, that individually deserve all my time and effort to get finished, but the way I work, I usually loose interest after a while, then return later with new energy. having (almost*) finished BattleLore means that some of the many other projects on the backburner are now up for full attention...

*I still need to do a few terrain pieces to be able to play any official scenario, and I want to make a 3d EPIC board too...

Well done! This is amazing! I have yet to pick up BattleLore and for this very reason of all the amount of painting and idears. And with all the projects on the go as well I totally know where your coming from. Thanks for sharing!

FFG are actually planning a dragon expansion for BattleLore!
You can check out the details in their website.
