I'm not sure why the Metropolis towers were yellow since that color is supposed to denote the "trade" Metropolis - seemed like a dumb design choice.

Initially I was going to paint one tower blue (politics) and another green (science), but that seemed like a bad idea as well since blue and green are player colors.

That's when I had the idea to paint them grey, and used colored flags. They look cool, but do tend to get knocked over as players reach across the board.

Neat idea, they look really good.

I just bought a green and a blue from online (http://boardgamebits.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_i...). For 40 cents each, it was cheaper than buying paint
