Fantastic picture! I'd toyed with the idea of trying to set something like this up myself with a pool of light around one of the streetlights, but this surpasses anything I could have done.
I particularly like the way the light makes the buildings around Holmes almost seem 3-dimensional - it really does look as if Watson has come across Holmes lurking suspiciously in a dark alleyway.
Wow, that is just an amazing picture. And it even indicates the rule of "Watson's lamp lights what is in front of him, but not Watson". Really, again, just an amazing picture.
