Why paint all your elephants the same? That just gets boring

Personally I like the blue one the best.

Thanks for all thumbs up - much appreciated.

I'm fairly happy with how they turned out, especially since some of the paints I used were not the best quality. The king's yellow was the most lousy, and took way too many layers. It also took me a while to figure out how to do washes properly, so you'll notice that the elephant on the left (orange) has a pretty monotone gray colour, whereas the other two elephants have better contrast between dark and light gray shading. I'm learning as I go along...

I think your painting skills are excellent; although I would have at least made the bases the same colour. Part of the advantage of painting is to readily tell factions apart at a glance, but this might confuse the issue.

I considered painting the bases the same, but there are only six elephants. It's more important for the other factions I think.
